Samsung: VR Strategy, Research and Concepting

Punchcut and its industrial design partner Enlisted worked with Samsung to research three emerging technologies, identify salient opportunities, recommend a platform strategy, and envision the platform through a series of software and hardware design prototypes.
Samsung's current VR products align with many of our recommendations and several additional products and services have been announced on the roadmap.

Behavior Archetypes
We interviewed nine individuals in their homes about target devices. Before creating personas, we grouped users by behaviors to find commonalities in their usage of drones and virtual reality headsets. These archetypes informed the creation of personas.
